About Me

Alexis was born and raised in Macon, Georgia. After graduating from Jones County High School in 2015, she enlisted in the United States Navy where she served as an IT until February of 2019. She moved to Statesboro, Georgia, in 2016 where she started her freshman year at Georgia Southern University. She bleeds True Blue! Her public relations program has shaped her into the person and professional she is today. She interned with the school's student media, George Anne Media Group, where she was the PR/Marketing Manager. She managed a team of four who were responsible for all internal and external functions, creating the vision for each event, product and service, ensuring accountability for all divisions, and ensuring effective recruitment of all staff members for all divisions. Her ability to multitask helped her manage her internship and school alongside a part-time job as a server at The Boiling Shrimp. Alexis graduated from Georgia Southern University in May 2020 with her Bachelor's of Science in Public Relations. Her plans after college include moving to Savannah, GA and shadowing PR professionals to find her niche.
